Gallery Rentals

Elder Gallery’s new location opened in May 2012 at 1520 South Tryon Street in Charlotte’s trendy SouthEnd District. Conveniently located to the center city as well as Charlotte’s historic Dilworth neighborhood, Elder Gallery is a beautiful, sophisticated venue for business and personal events.

The gallery is a one-block walk from the Bland Street Station of the light rail line and has free parking surrounding the building.

We have a business affiliation with Queen City Catering whose professional staff coordinates special events customized to the client's needs.

Rental Spaces:Three areas are available for rental:  main gallery, mezzanine gallery, and private conference room.

Main Gallery:The open concept lends itself to events to include cocktail parties for up to 175 people, and luncheon and dinner events to accommodate up to 144 people, depending upon configuration.

Rental hours:            Weekday events:   9:00 am – 5:00 pm          Evening events:   5:30 pm – 10:30 pm  

Conference Room: Ideal for small groups of up to eight (8) people. Room rental includes use of gallery facilities to include kitchen, restrooms and Wi-Fi internet connection.  Catering is available at additional cost through our business affiliate, Queen City Catering, and can be tailored to your needs. 

Rate:  Available at $40 per hour or $250 per day (9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Mon - Fri) 

Mezzanine Gallery: The Mezzanine Gallery overlooks the main gallery and affords space for up to twenty (20) people.  The space can be configured for business meetings and/or classroom training sessions.  Padded chairs and eight foot tables are available (no additional cost) upon request, as is one five foot round table. Table linens are available for an additional cost. 

Rate:   Available at $100 per hour or $650 per day (9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Mon – Fri)
